Heide Christmas grace

Wednesday, December 21, 2011

I think we have to a certain extent in the genes German Christmas.

The feast we celebrate even with Christians around our Jera- and Aiwaz tree and are only forgiveness, they do not take bad that they do not quite know what they're doing, did by the Jesus story, a Hebrew, to our Urfest aufpropften, with tons of brutal violence and murder, and much symbolic distortion.

Hardly a Christian really knows namely the tree to the origin of the white polka dots on red cape of Nikolauses, so that we are celebrating ever since the rebirth of light, long before that Hebrew Jesus saw that in the world.

We have adopted the so-called Son of God, so to speak graciously. (more ...)

Solstice

Tuesday, December 22, 2009

I was at today's solstice evening at the Christmas concert of the Hammelburger school in the beautiful Gothic parish church and was impressed by the performance: large orchestra, brass quartet, violin and flute, various choirs took turns to the common final; 170 students, so a large part of the small school were involved.

Was only strange that the songs were sung almost all sung in English, "Feliz Navidad" was also hummed a while, only the final song in Latin and German.

The Göllerlifte can probably never stop to complain ...

No, but why?

The students about not having powers if they followeth instead of "follow the star to Bethlehem" "" should sing because of 'the star to Bethlehem "would be uncool?

I dont know.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas now, a beautiful Julfeier, a happy Christmas feast and a lot of joy in the face of the rebirth of light.
