Magnus Carlsen: Will he make the calculator?

Friday, November 22, 2013

I wish that in Magnus Carlsen, a man would be grown, which could compete with the best chess programs and the so fed supercomputers that consume three million times as much energy as he.

So that there are long sheds until the computer out of sheer frustration finally dies just yet.

Carlsen, terrific finished him in a difficult endgames, rook endgame, or knight against bishop, perhaps even two knights and three pawns against queen, finally, mercilessly, in their own way ahead.

That would be a feast!

So I was in this little tournament under fours (against each twice) Although last, but I had beaten me, given my comrades experienced respectable.

"Caissa was kind to me!", Says chess player when the good opponents unawares makes heavy fighting in an error that still brings a draw or victory.

Interestingly, one does not say "Caissa today was not kind to me," if you missed his advantage by a Idiotenzug or several small errors themselves, even lost.

Caissa is thus a special kind of happiness goddess of chess player, (more ...)

Should you want to visit a bizarre male Assembly solemn earnestness, in which the proportion of women is as good as not arrived, prevail in the strange manners and a unique language is maintained, together with a very quirky sense of humor, nevertheless not wish to enter into a Masonic Lodge, which is in good hands with tournament chess players.

After nearly 25 years of abstinence, I now again let me out, spend some Sunday afternoons in this setting after in my early student days the morning appointments had but too much geschlaucht me, I also saw it that I do with even more trouble if need be in a league could create, where still would not discount bread with margarine.
