In der Vergangenheit ist Holdren dafür eingetreten, schwangere Frauen aus bestimmten gesellschaftlichen Gruppen zur Abtreibung zu zwingen, um somit die Vermehrung in bestimmten Schichten zu verhindern. Oder man könnte zur Bevölkerungskontrollen auch dem Trinkwasser ein unfruchtbar machendes Mittel zusetzen. Diese Position findet sich in einer Schrift Holdrens aus dem Jahre 1977 wieder, deren Aussagen jedoch jüngst von seinem Büro dementiert wurden. Auch vertritt er die Auffassung, daß selbst Neugeborene biologisch noch keine
menschlichen Wesen seien, sondern sich erst durch Sozialisation und Ernährung zu solchen entwickelten.

Barack Obama hat John Holdren zum neuen Wissenschaftsberater des Präsidenten gewählt, weil dieser zu den prominenten Verfechtern des längst diskreditierten Schwindels von der Klimaerwärmung zählt. Weniger bekannt über Holdren ist hingegen, dass er Ansichten zur Eugenik befürwortet, im Vergleich zu denen manche Nazi-Eugeniker fast humanitär wirken könnten. Unter anderem befürwortet Holdren die Zwangssterilisation von Paaren, die »zuviele« Kinder haben. Diesen Teil von Holdrens Wissenschaft kehren die liberalen US-Medien, die lieber die Mär von der Erderwärmung verbreiten, gern unter den
»… dem Trinkwasser ein unfruchtbar machendes Mittel zusetzen …«
Es folgt eine Zusammenfassung der Thesen seines Buches Ecoscience:
– Frauen könnten auch gegen ihren Willen zur Abtreibung gezwungen werden;
– Die Bevölkerung könnte insgesamt sterilisiert werden, indem man dem Trinkwasser oder Grundnahrungsmitteln ein Mittel zusetzt, das unfruchtbar macht;
– Alleinstehenden Müttern oder Müttern im Mädchenalter sollte man gegen ihren Willen die Kinder wegnehmen und sie anderen Paaren übergeben, die sie großziehen;
– Menschen, die zum »gesellschaftlichen Verfall« beitragen (also unerwünschten Personen), »kann man gesetzlich dazu verpflichten, bei der Reproduktion Verantwortungsbewusstsein walten zu lassen« – im Klartext: sie zur Abtreibung oder Sterilisation zu zwingen;
– Ein nationenübergreifendes »Planetary Regime« (Planetarisches Regime) sollte die Kontrolle über die Weltwirtschaft übernehmen und auch über die intimsten Details des Lebens der Amerikaner bestimmen – mithilfe einer bewaffneten internationalen Polizeitruppe.
Im selben Buch schreibt Holdren (S. 837): »… verbindliche Gesetze zur
Bevölkerungskontrolle, sogar Gesetze zur Zwangssterilisation, könnten unter der geltenden Verfassung zulässig sein, falls die Bevölkerungskrise zu einer ernsten Bedrohung für die Gesellschaft werden sollte …«
Darüber hinaus schlägt Holdren eine weltweite totalitäre Diktatur vor – er bezeichnet sie als »The Planetary Regime« –, die von oben ideale Bevölkerungszahlen diktieren soll: »… ein umfassendes Plantery Regime, [das] die Entwicklung, Verwaltung und Verteilung aller Rohstoffe überwachen könnte …, nicht nur in der Atmosphäre und den Ozeanen, sondern auch in Frischwasserreservoiren wie Flüssen und Seen«.
Er setzt hinzu: »… dem Planetary Regime könnte man die Verantwortung übertragen, die optimale Bevölkerung für die Welt und jede einzelne Region zu bestimmen und auch vermittelnd einzugreifen, um die Anteile der einzelnen Länder innerhalb der Beschränkungen für die jeweilige Region festzulegen …Das Regime hätte bestimmte Vollmachten, die Einhaltung der vereinbarten Beschränkungen durchzusetzen.«

Ich habe den – leider zwischen DEBKA-”Beiträgen” hängenden – meiner Meinung nach ausgezeichneten Artikel von Rétyis auch gelesen und frage mich ebenfalls, wie der meinige schon deutlich machte, was da Masse ist.
Die Frage, ob ein Phänomen in beide Richtungen wirken könne, ernstlich zu stellen, ist zuwenigst logisch.
Dank auch noch für das Lob bezüglich meines Schreibstils: das höre ich natürlich gerne.
